Platform lock-in

Platform lock-in is one of the best ways to keep your customers, even if they are not happy. This rings true with traders. It’s difficult to switch to a different platform, either you have to sell everything you have or do ACTAS costing between $50-$100 taking a week to happen.

If you google happiness with trading platforms, you get comments like

• X is legit unusable on mobile so I can’t mobile trade
• I find X severely lacking compared to others.
• Im trying to get the know the X platform but my god it seems to have been built in the 90s and not touched since.

There are even multiple dedicated mega-threads on Reddit with complaints.

This is what Liminal.market is about. Since all your trades are on public blockchain, you can choose the platform you want to use. Currently (January 2023) there is just one platform, our demo platform from on app.liminal.market and the demo portfolio site on info.liminal.market, but we intend to onboard trading platforms in the crypto space.
